English abstract
This thesis focused on the story telling techniques used in the Omani feminine novels in the period from 2000 to 2010.
Therefore, it tackled the collections of feminine novels published at that period of time. The thesis aimed at investigating the
principal techniques of the feminine story telling and it's techniques and characteristics. The methodology used depended on the developmental story telling. The researcher has included some other researchers' views regarding story telling techniques
used in the Omani feminine novels. The thesis is divided into a
theoretical background and three other sections. The theoretical background shed some light on the Omani feminine story telling techniques concepts; the three sections have focused on the practical side of the thesis. The research sample was analyzed according to the story telling concepts discussed in the theoretical background. The thesis was concluded with some significant
results of the study. The most significant result has been found that the Omani feminine story telling has sufficient awareness
regarding story telling techniques; however, it differs from one to another based on the story teller's academic background. This
thesis ended up with a number of implications and recommendations.
