Those who follow the course of the Omani theater appreciate the efforts made by the concerned authorities to pay attention and follow-up. The observer is amazed that despite the difficulties that Omani playwrights go through - and this is the case with theater all over the world with many structural differences - they carry within them enthusiasm, perseverance and diligence to establish the theatrical act in their societal and cultural life. Today, the viewer of the state of theater in Amman acknowledges its attraction between several governmental agencies and institutions such as the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, which adopts a law and regulations regulating, licensing and publicizing civil theater groups, the number of which has reached thirty-five private groups, and the Ministry of Social Development, which oversees the publication of the law and regulations regulating the work of the Law of Associations. Al-Ahlia, including, of course, the Omani Theater Association. And also the Ministry of Education, which supervises the school theater and its annual competitions, as well as the Ministry of Higher Education, which organizes an annual competition for university colleges and its own student theater festival, and there is also a theater group that is attributed to Sultan Qaboos University.
