English abstract
This study targets identification of reading weakness publicity of cycle one students in North Batinah Governorate as it seen by first domain teachers and to reveal a statistically significant differences attributed to the state (Wilayah) variable. In order to achieve the goal of this study, the descriptive method was used/adopted and the study population consisted of 1400 cycle one teachers in the governorate. While the sample of the study that was chosen by randomization technique random technique and it consisted of 560 teachers. A questionnaire of three axes was used as the study tool and these axes are related to aspects of reading letters, words and sentences.
The research tool was applied after validation. The result showed a weak reading weakness aspects and there are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the teachers' responses according to state variable. The study recommends that technical and administrative measures should be taken in order to maintain high reading performance.
