English abstract
The importance of values emerged as a result of some modern sociologists in the twentieth century studying social problems in relation to values, on the basis that values transform in daily life into trends and direct life behavior, and as a result social change occurs to meet modern needs. As a result, Arab societies found themselves due to their interaction and communication with African societies in need of mixing and coexistence with them, and the phenomenon of mixing in such a situation is one of the most important features that distinguishes tribes of Arab origins in Sudan, and this phenomenon has effects affecting social values, and in the context of this mixing, the research problem crystallized the change of some values The African groups to be studied are: (The values of the Islamic religion, the value of the Arabic language, the value of marriage between groups of relatives, the value of external marriage). This paper attempts to carry out an objective extrapolation of the features of Arab values derived from the customs and traditions of the Arabs accompanied by the values of the Islamic religion, and the values of the Nuba groups derived from African customs, traditions and beliefs, using the help of the author's study that he conducted in 2010 AD on the impact of modernization on changing some social values in the region, according to which he obtained a doctorate degree in Sociology, in which the method of comparison was used on the Nuba groups in the administrative unit of Dilling, which represents the urban society that was subject to admixture and assimilation with the Arabs, and the administrative unit of Salara, which represents the rural community that was not subject to much Arab influences, in order to reveal the changes whose impact is to be measured, to see if A complete change in the studied values or a change in the functions of their systems, which is the subject of the current study in the research community.
