English abstract
With the tremendous development witnessed in our time in the field of computer, especially what is known as computer databases used in many areas of our daily lives, there has been growing sense of the importance of using databases and employment in the field of crime detection by the establishment of so-called genetic information banks, or databases and records of DNA data. The latter have played a large and decisive role in solving the mystery of many criminal cases. However the countries that organized the use of DNA in criminal evidence developed legal provisions governing these records and databases, in terms of their establishment nevertheless they work and control to benefit from them. This study reviews the reality of the legal regulation of DNA databases in some Arab legislations.
