English abstract
The study aimed to reveal the level of awareness of Sultan Qaboos University students about the environmental problems associated with sustainable development. The study employed the descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of (315) students from Sultan Qaboos University. , and their level of awareness of the causes of environmental problems (high), while the highest responses of the study sample members to methods of awareness of environmental problems on the part of the university (low), and finally, the highest responses of the sample members to the manifestations of students' interest in environmental problems (low), and the study recommended activating the methods Environmental awareness in a sustainable manner among university students, providing financial support for scientific research in the field of environmental protection, organizing seminars and conferences to develop environmental awareness, and activating activities
