English abstract
The study aims to recognise the level of the headmasters of Islamic intuitions
in Oman in practicing parental role and its impact on job satisfaction from
teachers’ perspective. Descriptive methodology and questionnaire were used
and applied on small random specimen of 74 teachers from all Islamic
institutions. The study concluded that the level of parental leadership is high
with average of 3.37, the career satisfaction overall is high with average of 3.80
and there is powerful positive relation between average parental leadership and
the average of job satisfaction: an evidence statistic on indicative level of
(a<0.01). Furthermore, the results of the study found no differences of
statistical indication on level (0.005) between the level of the practice of the
headmasters of Islamic institutions of parental role that can be attributed to
variants of qualification and experience. But there are statistical indicative
differences that can be attributed to the variant of the site of the institution. In
addition to that, the results show that the relation between factors of the
methodology with its field is strongly interrelated with statistical indication, and
the relation between axis with their field is strongly interrelated.
In light of the study’s results, the researcher presents a number of
recommendations, most importantly the application of parental leadership by
headmasters to bring in positivity and job satisfaction.
