English abstract
The study seeks to identify the motives for the use of electronic newspapers by the faculty members at Yarmouk University, and the gratifications they achieve through their exposure to these newspapers. As well as identifying whether faculty members communicate with electronic newspapers, and knowing the type of this communication. and its fields, and to identify the extent of confidence in the information presented by electronic newspapers, and its role in raising the level of press freedoms.
