English abstract
The study aimed to identify the degree of the practice of transformational leadership among public school principals and its relationship to the professional compatibility of teachers in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman among 381 male and female teachers.
Among the most important findings of the study are: The degree of government school principals practicing transformational leadership in the Al Sharqiyah South Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman was high. All of them came with a high degree of practice, and the results of the study revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the average response of the study individuals on the degree of practicing transformational leadership among government school principals in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate from the teachers’ point of view due to the study demographic variables. (Gender, educational qualification, years of experience, and job level).
The study found that the level of professional compatibility among government school teachers in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, was at a high level. The results of the study also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the averages of employees' estimates of the level of professional compatibility of teachers in government schools in the Al Sharqiyah South Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, due to the variables: gender, educational qualification, and years of experience. Statistically significant attributable to the functional level dimension in all dimensions and the college level except compatibility with co-workers, and the differences were in favor of the first teacher.
The study concluded that the level of professional compatibility among public school teachers in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman from their point of view was strong and high.
According to the study results, a set of recommendations were presented, the most important of which are: Those concerned in the Ministry of Education represented by the Department of Educational Supervision intensify training programs that support the practice of transformational leadership dimensions among public school principals, which contribute to improving and developing the performance of their tasks and school performance, and those concerned in the Ministry of Education hold a training program entitled (Cort Program) for decision-making processes By specialists and experienced. It targets school principals and teachers in the educational field because of its impact on making the right decisions, providing appropriate financial allocations to enable school principals to provide high-quality professional development programs, and involving first teachers and teachers in the processes of planning, design, implementation and evaluation of various professional development programs.
