English abstract
This study aimed to know the relationship between job well-being, organizational
climate, and innovative behavior of administrative and technical staff in the
municipalities of North Al Sharqiyah Governorate (the Directorate and the municipalities
of the wilayats of Ibra, Al Mudhaibi, Bidiyah, Al Qabil, Wadi Bani Khalid, Dama and Al
Tayyin) in the Sultanate of Oman. It also aimed to test the impact of both job well-being
and organizational climate with its dimensions (service - creative - occupational safety)
on the innovative behavior of workers in the departments under study. It aimed to identify
the differences in the respondents' responses to demographic variables (sex and age).
This study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, and the electronic
questionnaire was used as a main tool for collecting basic data related to the study
variables through Google Forms. The data was collected by the easy sample method from
(331) male and female employees in the municipalities departments of North Al
Sharqiyah Governorate, where the study population reached (898) employees. The data
were analyzed, and hypotheses tested using the SPSS statistical package for social
sciences.
The results of the study revealed that there is a direct relationship between job wellbeing and innovative behavior at a rate of 63.1%, and the ratio of the relationship between
organizational climate (service, creativity, and occupational safety) and innovative
behavior (56.8%) is a positive relationship, where the organizational climate for
occupational safety was the most influential with a percentage of (58.9). %), and there
are no statistically significant differences in the respondents' responses due to
demographic variables (gender and age).
Based on the results, the study concluded several recommendations, the most
important of which are: setting strategies with specific requirements and standards for
creators and innovators, rehabilitating and training them, allocating a team to study their
ideas and working on their implementation, harnessing resources and capabilities to
overcome the challenges facing employees, and disbursing incentive incentives to support
the innovative and creative behavior of employees.
