English abstract
The aim of the study was to investigate the impact of administrative communication on the level of job performance among the employees of the Secretariat-General of the Shura Council of Oman. The study adopted descriptive analytical for finding results. In order to measure that, a questionnaire was used to collect information and data, which covered two variables: the administrative communication variable and the job performance variable. The participants received questionnaires were 75 male and female employees, which represented 35% of the total research sample. The study concluded with the following results indicated that there was medium administrative communication of the Secretariat-General employees of Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman. At the same time, there was clear indication measure by (0.05) of the official communication at the level of performance of the same Unit. According to the findings of the study, the researcher reached to the following recommendations. Firstly, the administration of Shura Council should conduct periodic meetings with employees in order to listen to their views, suggestions and complaints, whereas the second one showed the need to hold brainstorming workshops for the employees to find solutions for their problems. The researcher suggests that hopefully the study will contribute positively in improving the performance of the Shura Council's employees, and increasing their practical productivity to meet the goals of their institution.
