English abstract
This quantitative study discussed the impact of the internal work environment on
administrative creativity in the Directorate of Education in North Al Sharqiyah in the
Sultanate of Oman. The study problem: that the elements of the internal environment have
a major role in the success of the institution and the achievement of its goals, through the
satisfaction of employees and sharpening their enthusiasm and creativity. While the poor
internal work environment leads to low productivity of workers and their desire to leave
the job in search of better opportunities. Therefore, the study aims to: evaluate the
elements of the internal work environment in North Al Sharqiyah Directorate, evaluate
the level of administrative creativity in it, and discuss the extent to which the internal
work environment affects administrative creativity. To achieve these goals, the researcher
adopted the descriptive analytical approach. The study population amounted to (425)
directors, their assistants, heads of departments and employees of the Directorate. A
stratified random sample of (205) individuals was selected, based on the table of Gristy
and Morgan (1970). The researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (51) statements
distributed in (6) domains that represented the study variables in its internal environment.
After verifying the validity and reliability, It was distributed to a small sample to ensure
the clarity. The statistical methods used: Pearson's correlation coefficient to measure the
validity of the internal consistency of the questionnaire. Cronbach's alpha stability
coefficient to measure the stability of the resolution. descriptive analysis to extract
arithmetic means and standard deviations, multiple regression (T) test, simple regression
analysis, Scheffe test for dimensional comparisons. The study findings revealed that: The
general average of all the axes of the internal environment of the organization came to a
medium degree, as all the axes got a medium rating. The axis of technology use came
first, the training axis ranked second, the administrative leadership axis ranked third, the
work conditions axis came fourth, and the rewards and incentives system axis ranked last.
As indicated by the results; The general average of the expressions of the administrative
creativity axis also came to a medium degree. The results showed; The internal work
environment axes have a medium effect (47%) on improving administrative creativity in
the Directorate of North Al Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman
