English abstract
The study aims to identify the impact of the governance of the strategic
planning process on the performance of employees in the Ministry of Social
Development in the Sultanate of Oman. A random sample of (350)
employees was selected, and a researcher distributed the questionnaire
electronically to the sample members, and (332) valid questionnaires were
retrieved for statistical analysis. The descriptive analytical approach and the
SPSS V.24 AMOS V.25 program were used to analyze the data. Among the
most important results that were reached: the availability of governance of
the strategic planning process with its dimensions (the principle of
participation, the principle of evaluation, the principle of accountability, the
principle of transparency, the principle of effectiveness, the principle of
justice and equality) in the Ministry of Social Development in the Sultanate
of Oman at an average level, and that the performance of employees in the
Ministry of Development Social in the Sultanate of Oman came at an
average level. And the existence of a statistically significant positive effect
of the governance of the strategic planning process with its dimensions (the
principle of participation, the principle of evaluation, the principle of
accountability, the principle of transparency, the principle of effectiveness,
the principle of justice and equality) in improving the performance of
employees in the Ministry of Social Development in the Sultanate of Oman.
Among the most important recommendations of the study: Work on
employee participation In the organization's strategic planning processes and
encourage them to express opinions and submit proposals in order to
enhance the employee's role in the organization and raise his performance
levels. And work to ensure that the results of the employee's performance
evaluation are analyzed according to the strategic planning process in the
organization in order to raise the efficiency of the evaluation process.
