English abstract
The study aimed to identify the role of the strategic leadership of the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources in achieving competitive advantage in the field of honey bee farming. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the study population was selected from all those working in honey bee farming in the North Al Sharqiyah and North Al Batinah governorates. The researcher used a questionnaire tool to collect data.The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The results of the study showed that the reality of the strategic leadership of the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources came with a moderate degree of approval, and that the level of competitive advantage came with a moderate degree of approval. The results showed the presence of a statistically significant effect and relationship at a significant level (0.000 a) between the axes of strategic leadership (future thinking, innovation, analysis and research) and achieving competitive advantage (quality, market share, quality) in the field of honey bee farming, where the correlation coefficient reached ( 0.953).
The study reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
1. Increasing the Ministry’s interest in the field of honey bee farming by strengthening the strategic leadership axes in the strategic plans, which contributes to achieving competitive advantage.
2. Continuing to train workers on strategic leadership in honey bee farming, guiding them and supporting them financially and morally by holding training courses, seminars and workshops.
3. The necessity of establishing a government company to collect and recycle honey production and find marketing outlets for them.
4. The need to enhance the achievement of competitive advantage and its three axes in order to achieve efficiency in the field of honey bee farming and provide an advantage to the market in the long term, as this is reflected in increasing the number of customers, achieving profits and gaining high competitive strength locally and internationally.
5. Work to develop codified and standardized models to achieve quality in honey products in light of international quality standards to improve competitiveness.
