English abstract
The study aimed to determine the impact of job rotation on the performance of
employees in the Ministry of Labor in the Sultanate of Oman, where four
requirements of job rotation elements were studied (training, career
development strategy, procedures and systems, job design) and the impact of
each of these elements on performance will be analyzed. employees, and to
achieve the goal of the study, the researcher will use the descriptive and
analytical method; The study population consists of all employees of the Ministry
of Labor, and the study sample consisted of (422) male and female employees.
The researcher used the questionnaire as a tool for the study, and the
questionnaire in its final form consisted of 4 axes and (33) items, where four axes
were distributed on the independent variable and one axis on the dependent
variable. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The
level of job rotation in its dimensions (training, development strategy Job
performance, procedures and systems, job design) in the Ministry of Labor came
at a moderate degree, and the level of job performance among employees at the
Ministry of Labor included in the study came at a high degree. The study also
found that: There is a statistically significant relationship at the level of
significance (0.01) between the elements of job rotation: (training, career
development strategy, procedures and systems, job design) and the performance
of workers in the Ministry of Labor. The study presented a number of
recommendations, the most important of which are: the necessity of maintaining
At this high level of activating job rotation in the Ministry of Labor in Oman, and
providing more job rotation opportunities for employees, it recommended the
necessity of implementing job rotation in all ministries in the Sultanate of Oman.
It also recommended the necessity of working to strengthen employees’
conviction in the job rotation policy.
