English abstract
This study deals with the issue of the legal framework for the employment of persons
with disabilities in the private sector. The main problem of this study revolves around the
lack of detailed legislation at the national level for the employment of persons with
disabilities at work. The study follows the comparative analytical approach in order to reach
conclusions based on a wide range of experiences. legal.
In the introductory chapter, it touched on the legislative framework for the right to
work for persons with disabilities by explaining the concept of persons with disabilities at
the international level and from a legal point of view, and indicating the types and causes of
disability. The first chapter dealt with the legal protection of the right to work for persons
with disabilities in the private sector, while the second chapter dealt with Means of
protecting the right of persons with disabilities to work in Omani and comparative law. The
study concluded that the time has come for the Omani labor law to preserve its character and
allocate some of its provisions to protect this vulnerable group of workers.
