The reality of applying artificial intelligence in the performance of employees in Omani sports associations in light of Oman vision 2040. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a significant part of our daily life, including sporting. The current study aimed to investigate the application of artificial intelligence of employees in Oman sports associations in the light of the Oman Vision 2040, and the moderating effects of career experience and financial support. The descriptive research method has been used. Seventy-one employees from 11 sports associations completed a questionnaire assessing four areas: first: the importance of artificial intelligence; second; the practice of AI by workers; third; services to support the application of AI; fourth: and the challenges facing AI operators. The results of the study showed that there was a limited implication of AI generally, with exception for the importance of AI area, which conforms to the requirements of the Oman Vision 2040. Also, there were many challenges of AI applications in Oman sports associations such as the lack of legislation, laws, and knowledge and training programs of AI applications for the employees. The results also showed that there were no significant differences with respect to career experience and financial support. In accordance with the Oman Vision 2040, the present study has several implications for development of AI applications for the employees across Oman sport associations.
