English abstract
This study aims to identify the level of Family climate and the level of Academic procrastination among Sultan Qaboos University students. It also examines the extent of variations in Family climate and Academic procrastination based on gender (male and female), academic level (first year to fifth year and more), and predicts Academic procrastination through Family climate. The sample consists of 621 students selected by an available method. The descriptive correlational approach was used, employing Family Climate Measurement and Academic Procrastination Measurement.
The study indicated high levels of Family Climate and moderate levels of Academic Procrastination among Sultan Qaboos University students. Results showed no statistically significant differences in Family Climate between males and females, while statistically significant differences in Academic Procrastination favored males. No significant differences were observed in Academic Procrastination by academic level. Finally, Academic Procrastination can be predicted through Family Climate.
