English abstract
The disciplinary responsibility of university students is one of the
important topics that legislation is keen to regulate. The goals of
universities are not limited to qualifying students academically,
technically, and skillfully, but extend to other goals, including preparing
students characterized by good morals, and keen to adhere to the sound
scientific approach. Therefore, this study came to shed light on that
responsibility in accordance with the provisions of Omani legislation. In
order to evaluate that legislation and find solutions to any problems
related to the subject, the problem of the study becomes clear in
examining the comprehensiveness of disciplinary legislation to hold
university students accountable in Omani legislation. Do these
legislations cover all forms of disciplinary violations and what are the
penalties prescribed for them? What are the procedures for investigating
the violating student and the disciplinary guarantees? The study was
divided into two chapters, the first related to the elements of university
student disciplinary responsibility, and the second related to the
procedures and guarantees of student disciplinary accountability.
