English abstract
The objective of this research to knowledge and the relationship between stress and the academic achievement of the twelfth grade students and their educational attainment in the South East region Djalan sector, and to identify the level of psychological pressure on these students and its impact on school performance.
The researcher has used a measure of the psychological pressure of a paragraph 64, which included the words reflect the pressures of study and family, health, economic and social development, and after verifying the veracity of the test tool has been applied to research of a sample (155) students were chosen the way of students from the simple random sample of schools represented research during the academic year 2008/2009.
Using the arithmetic mean and standard deviation, and correlation coefficient for Persson is clear from the results that the level of the total pressure is the pressure of the sample and a simple arrangement in terms of stress intensity were as follows: first, the pressure of study and economic pressures and the pressures of health and family pressure and finally the social pressures.
This has been found that the average level of educational attainment for members of the sample is an average (mean). The results also indicated that there was a statistically significant relationship between the level of negative stress and the level of student academic achievement. In the light of the findings of the researcher of the results has been provided many of the recommendations and proposals for the subsequent studies.
