English abstract
This study aimed to build the collective guidance and make it ready for the application of its procedures, methods, tools and activities to interested researchers, and interested counselors in the Sultanate of Oman; for the development of some communication skills in vocational guidance specialists in the Sultanate of Oman.
Has been the construction of this indicative Programme collective proposal based on a survey aimed at including the researcher felt some of the communication skills needed by the specialists, vocational guidance and factors of development of specialist vocational guidance in the Sultanate of Oman, on the basis of literature who wrote in this area, in addition to previous studies aimed at developing some communication skills.
The collective extension program proposed in this study consist of (17) session extension period a proposed ranging between (60-90) minutes. Where the aim of the first meeting is to know and build trust and rapport between the guide and members of the group extension, and between members of the group extension with each other, and to recognize the group guidance on the concept of psychological counseling collective, and the indicative Programme, which will be applied. The second session extension was aimed at the definition of specialists on the concept of communication and its importance in humans. The sessions from the third to sixteenth has aimed to develop some communication skills in the target sample of the collective construction of the proposed extension program. The seventeenth meeting was aimed to end the program of counseling sessions collective proposal.
Researcher has proposed to implement the pilot program, and the achievement of its objectives a set of extension methods had been: discussion, feedback, reinforcement, homework, summary, modeling, simplified lecture and role-play question.
For the purposes of assistance in the application of these methods guiding the researcher has proposed the following tools:
Blackboard wall, pens, a display device (Proxima) a computer and the screen display.
In conclusion, the researcher hopes to be benefit from the program by psychologists counselors and specialist social workers in the Sultanate of Oman, for the purposes of the development of some communication skills with the specialist professional guidance, where the researcher hopes that this program is effective in the development of some of the communication skills of professionals vocational guidance in the Sultanate of Oman.
