English abstract
This research addresses the strict liability arising from the damages caused by medical robots
by outlining their concept and discussing legal scholars’ opinions on the legal nature of
robots. It examines the applicability of the rules governing liability for custodians of objects
and liability for defective products in compensating for damages caused by medical robots,
alongside the critiques directed at both forms of liability. The study also explores innovative
alternatives proposed by legal scholars to compensate for damages caused by robots.
Accordingly, this research focuses on the strict civil liability of medical devices as objects,
and the ensuing liability of the custodian. Additionally, it reviews the potential application
of defective product liability to damages caused by medical robots.
