English abstract
The study aimed to present a suggested proposal for excellence award for Schools principals in the Sultanate of Oman Schools and to know the degree of approval of consultants and educational experts on the suggested proposal. To achieve these goals, the Delphi method was used as a study tool, where the descriptive approach was used with a content analysis of Arab and
international models. The models of these awards were used as
well as the study of the supervisory forms of the supervisory visits and the model of the performance report for the school principal in the Sultanate of Oman. Based on that benefit, a questionnaire was designed that included three axes, the first axis features identity award while the second axis running hubs attached and arbitration mechanism and evaluation, and attached the third axis of award criteria. The study tool was presented to a group of arbitrators and was then used to apply the Delphi method in two rounds. The opinion of 23 experts and experts was taken and the data were statistically studied using percentages. The study found a range of results was between (73.9% -100%) in both rounds. The study concluded with a final proposal for the Excellence Award and can be applied in schools in the Sultanate of Oman.
