English abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the reality of the development of management schools of basic education in the light of the entrance to the change management in the region of the Interior, and to identify differences in the development of management schools of basic education in the light of the entrance of change management in the Sultanate of Oman in the light of the variable function (administrator, teacher), and the gender variable (males, females
),Moreover, suggesting procedures for the development of performance management of basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman in the light of the entrance of change management.
To make this study the researcher used the descriptive approach,and to achieve the objectives of the current study, the researcher analyzed the literature of educational and previous studies and according to that the researcher build her questionnaire forms (79) on different areas and questions of the study. Also, it has been checked the validity and reliability of these studies
The study sample consisted of (234) administrator and teacher of primary schools in the Interior region.
In order to answer the questions of the study, the researcher used the averages and standard deviations, and test educational Administration (T) (T-Test).
Two of the main findings of the study field are as follows:
1. The management practices are exercised highly in primary school, where the results showed that the administrative practices of the four study areas (planning, organization, and decision-making, and community participation), and the administrative practices of change management practice in the schools of basic education is the focus (organization), where it was ranked among the first of the four axes, followed by planning, and decision-making, and finally area of community participation.
2. There were significant differences at the level of significance (a≤ 0,05)-
between the mean estimates of the administrator and teacher in all dimensions of the study due to the variable named career.
3. There were significant differences at the level of significance (a ≤ 0,05) between the mean estimates males and females in all dimensions of the study due to the variable sex.
In the light of previous analysis of literature, and the results of field study, the researcher found a number of proposed actions to improve the performance of headmasters of primary schools in the region in the light of the entrance to the internal change management, as well as developing suggestions and general recommendations from the study, Including the benefit from the experiences of Arab and Western countries in the development of school management and try to transfer their successful experiences in this area, and the emphasis on supporting the private sector through participation in the financing plans, programs and school activities that seek to develop and renew the administrative work for the achievement of educational objectives of the educational process, and the development of Quality control team and glorious in the school., and the need to give managers the flexibility to schools in the implementation of decisions and school regulations issued by the central educational authorities regarding the development of administrative work and strengthen the financial independence, and the expansion in the use of IT management.
