English abstract
This study aimed to what extend vice principals of post basic education schools tackle their duties responsibilities in Batinah South governorate Batinah South, Sultanate of Oman. Also, to discovering differences of statistical significance from the samples taken relating to (gender, qualification and years of experience). The subject of study was all the teachers of post education schools in Batinah South Governorate from 466 male and female teachers I've taken a random sample of 55% so to have 256 male and female teachers, about 128 were males and 128 were males during the second semester 2013/ 2014.The statistical tackling to analyze the data the researcher used SPSS program presented in repetitions, percentages ,statistical averages and criteria carves, Alfa Chronbach's theory and the second test (T_Test) and ANOVA analysis and (226) questioners were retrieved by (28) (88 %).
The most important result of the study are the teachers of post basic education schools 11/12 in Batinah South Governorate think that vice principals do their jobs properly. Moreover, the system and regulations was in the first class by statistical average 3.58 and criterion curve 0, 74 next planning and application by statistical average 3.74 and criterion curve 0,83 then the management of resources by statistical average 3.61 and criterion curve 0,79 then learning and cross curriculum competency by statistical average 3.58 and criterion curve 0,74 and finally management of change 3.59 and criterion curve 0,920. Also, no big differences among the averages samples in different fields relating to qualifications and experience. The last one, there are big differences that have statistical significance in the averages of the thesis samples for the female side in all fields of the thesis.
The most important recommendations are the first one, to continue keep pushing the high degree achieved by vice principals in post basic education schools relating to their job duties. Also, encourage vice principals in post basic education schools to do pedagogical researches. In addition, to enable administrational supervisors of methods and ways of scientific research. Moreover, to improve and enhance supervision and following up of vice principals in post basic education schools and develop the learning and teaching process and cross curriculum competency. Furthermore, to use enough rules and criteria in choosing the vice principals who are able to make change and develop scientific research. Then, to present training programs for vice principals that attract the private sector to share in change and development. The last one of the recommendations is to set programs of exchange visits between vice principals with Arab and global schools to exchange experiences and to encourage brilliants financial and morally in their field and give them the chance to complete their higher study.
There are several proposals to the lack of educations research conducted in slice assistant directors of school of education in the sultanate of Oman. And, few studies have been performed in the field of educational research, the research suggests the following conducts a study on the relationship between the conducts and conduct educational research. Also, conduct a study on the relationship between educational supervision and conduct educational research. In addition, provide a similar study of the current study, but from the standpoint of the supervisors or managers of school. The last one, undertake a study similar to the current study and assistant managers but basic education in the first episode and the second episode.
