English abstract
The Arab Criticism was interested in ancient and modern studies of the pre-Islamic era and emphasized it, and its focus was greater on the poets of that era and their poems because it represents the treasure and the heritage of civilization, and that through it we can identify the era in all aspects of social, intellectual, political, economic and religious, and other aspects of Arab life In that important era of history.
And because the poet's role in social life is important and effective, especially in the pre-Islamic period, in which the poet was the Ministry of Information and the most prominent spokesman in the name of the tribe in its peace and war, his influence in social life was visible and clear at all levels.
In this sense, the message is divided into three chapters. The first was to talk about the Arab pre-Islamic society, to explain the poet's status and role, as well as to talk about social structure, living, cultural and intellectual aspects, war, peace and alliances, and concluding the chapter by mentioning the ethics and customs that prevailed in that era.
The second chapter talks about the sects of poets and the social values that distinguish each sect from others, such as the group of poets and their social values and the community of poets and the values of the society surrounding them between the rejection and social strife experienced by poetry.
