English abstract
This study aimed at exploring the effectiveness of teaching with virtual classroom in the achievement of mathematics and logical thinking among
students in the tenth grade. The sample was consisted of (56) grade 10 students from a basic education school in South Batinah Governorate. They were divided into two groups: an experimental group which studied by using Virtual Classroom and a control group which studied the same unit using the normal method. The result of the study were: There is statically significant difference at the level of significance (a-0.05) between the mean score of the experimental group and the mean score of the control group on the Achievement test for the favor of the experimental group students. - There is statically significant difference at the level of significance (a-0.05) between in the logical thinking test for the favor of the experimental group. Considering these results, the study recommended the necessity of applying and using virtual classroom in teaching algebra topics, based on the positive effects the study had shown.
