It was applied on sample of 200 of schools principals and their assistances and the heads of the parents councils which were chosen randomly stratified equally from seven educational provinces. The statistical treatment of the data was carried out using calculating the averages ,standard deviation , T- test, one way ANOVA ,the Scheffe comparison test and the statistical package program for social sciences(SPSS). The results of the study showed that the degree of approval of members of sample on the requirement of activating the role of parents councils to develop the administrative performance of school(5-12) was very high in general, other sections of the questionnaire ranged between high and very highly agreements ,the top one related to the sections (communicating with parents and the community institutions) where it came with a very highly range of approval, while the section of school planning got less average degree of approval. The result also showed no statistically significant differences at the level of (a=0,05)due to variable type of estimates of a sample in all sections except the section of (organizing the administrative work)where there were statistically significant differences due to the variable type for(males). Also, there were no statistically significant differences on the level of significance (a =0.05) due to the variable job title in the estimates of the sample in the all sections except the (legislation and laws)and (school planning) sections among the principle assistant and head of parents council in favor of the head of parents council. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the variable years of experience in all sections except the section of (school planning) in favor of the years of experience, while the results showed no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a=0.05) due to the variable educational provinces estimates between members of the sample in all axes. Regarding the findings of the study, the researcher recommends a set of points: Involving Parents Council in the Student Discipline Committee and modifying the Regulations of the Parents Council.
