English abstract
This study aimed to explore the reality of observation of human relation principles by school principals when taking decisions in administrations situations in The Sultanate of Oman, and to identify differences between the average responses of school principals according to the study variables: gender, experience, and school environment. The study sample consisted of 305 school principals in school including grades eleven and twelve in Oman. The used a questionnaire consisting of 24 administrative situations, which usvally take place between school principals and school teachers, students, staff, or parents. These situations covered four principles of human relations. Mean, standard deviations, and independent sample T- test were used in the analysis. The results indicated that the reality of school principals observation of human relation principles was at a high level for the principles of justice, but at a medium level for the principles of respect, cooperation and communication. The results also indicated that the reality of school principals observation of human relation principles was at a high level with teachers, but at a medium level with students, workers and parents. To determine whether there were statistically significant differences between the average responses of school principals, Multi-Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) was used. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the variables of type and school environment. As for the experience variable, the results showed the existence of significant differences in favor of school principals with less experience.
