English abstract
This study aimed to address the problematic issues in poetry in poetic theater with a concentration on the controversial debatable sides.
Therefore, the study came in four chapters, each one discusses a different topic. In the first chapter, It discusses the confusions in the writing of poetic theatre. Then, it takes, in chapter two, different styles of writing and related cases like the relation between the author style and the character style, differentiating between the terms and discussing argumentative points about the mimeses and events. Chapter three comes to discuss music and drama manifestations and their phases in poetic theatre. The last chapter, chapter four, addresses poetry as a theme in theatre and discuss it. The application and study field in this study is Ahmed Shawqi's poetic theatre
because it was the first in consolidation of Arabic theater. In addition, the debates that is still exist about it between critics and researchers, However, the methodology that is followed in treating the practical topic is stylistic analysis, starting from the text to look in its technical aspects and literary levels; verbally, structurally, imaginarily and rhythmically. Moreover, the study methodology dealt with Ahmed Shawqi's poetic theatre in a methodical analysis and interpretation of its' stylistic characteristics.
The study concludes with a variety of results that would help the researchers to start new discussion and continue searching in different aspects.
