English abstract
The present research studies the purposes behind the descriptions of nature in the poetry of the Bosa'eedist state. The research has selected the poets, Ibn Ruzaiq and Ibn Shekhan, as the subject – matter of the study since both describe nature in their poetry more than any other poet during that era. The research has been divided into three chapters. The first deals with the descriptions of earthly nature such as mountains, seas, rivers, plants and animals, whereas the second focuses on studying the descriptions of the heavenly nature such as the sun, the moon, the heavenly planets, stars, clouds and everything related to this type of nature. The third chapter, in addition, studies the artistic aspects of their poetry such as the language, the style, the poetic imagery, the imagination, the poetic music, the poetic foots and the characteristics of using the descriptions of nature in it. Furthermore, the research begins with an introduction in which the aims and the methodology followed are stated in order to highlight the characteristics and trends of this poetry. As for the conclusion, a summary of the most important findings concludes the research. I hope that Almighty God will give me the strength to carry out the research satisfactorily so that the research may be as beneficial as possible to whoever wants to read it or to acquaint himself with it.
