As a result of the development and diversity of information sources, technological development has become rapid in order to implement processing processes through computers. Big data technology has spread widely to cover this need of processors. The increasingly common XML DB is an example of the type of data that can be processed using Big-Data.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics that can positively and negatively affect the data query of XML DB when used in a large data environment. To check the impact of big data, a Marklogic application was selected where a specific set of queries was run to extract specific information from a set of databases.
The results after the data show that it has a negative effect on most queries in the big data environment. In addition, the join on value query has a slow effect on time performance and finally the study concluded that it is conducting further experiments on the effect of big data of the 3D standard after optimization (Extended 3D-XBench
