English abstract
This study aims to follow a scientific movement in Zanzibar and Eastern Coast of Africa during the study period ,form where it's prosperity aspects factors and scientific output which has appeared in that period. The researcher followed the analytic, descriptive and historical curriculum in dealing with historical resources and special documents in that period to elicit the historical facts which related to scientific life in Zanzibar and Eastern Coast of Africa in study period. The study was divided to a preface , four chapters and a conclusion. The preface focuses on giving historical background about the evolve of cultural centers on Eastern Coast of Africa. The first chapter takes politician, social and economic conditions in Zanzibar and Eastern Coast of Africa during the Second Half of Nineteenth Century. The second chapter takes a debate about the factors of prosperity of scientific movement like encourage the emperors of Zanzibar to take the knowledge and become scientists, create printing house and attend constellation of scientific movement aspects. The fourth
chapter allocates and dedicates the most prominent scientists who contribute in scientific movement and their literary and scientific production. The study ends with conclusion that concludes the results that I reached.
