English abstract
The study aimed to verify to what extent the Islamic Educational books of second cycle Basic Education in sultanate of oman meet/satisfy the students needs, through answering the following two questions:
1. To which expans is which the Islamic Educational books of second cycle of Basic Education (5-10) in Sultanate of Oman for the students needs?
2. do the students' needs covered included in the Islamic Books' content, of second cycle of Basic Education (5-10) in Sultanate of Oman, differ between different grades/levels?
To answer the two questions, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method suit it to the studys questions and aims .She also made alist of the students needs; which 42 needs distributed over four areas: physical needs (10) needs, psychological needs (12) needs, mental needs (8) needs, social needs (12) needs. The list has been verified by presenting it to agroup of 32 judges in the curriculums, and teaching methods field, psychology,members of the curriculums. And it has been checkedby using unanimous desicion method between the researcher and another analyzer through Cooper Equation, the harmony percentage was 85%. And the results of the study were:
1. The axis psychological needs has beenranked in the first place, with a percentage of 48,94%, followed by social needs with 25,80%, followed by mental needs with 20.30%, and finally physical needs with an availability rate of 4,95%.
2. The seventh grades book got the first place between the classes in this stage in containing the students needs, by 1184 reccurrences with a percentage 20,37%. Meanwhile the grades book got 822 reccurrences with a percentage 14,14%.
In light of the finding of the study, she recommended the importance of containing students needs in Islamic Educational books, and giving students needs which have not been included well enough and have not been implicated at all in the books of the study sample with the need to take into account the balance in the distribution of students students needs in the content of books of Islamic Educational in the second cycle Basic Education.
