English abstract
The study aimed to identify to what extent the educational methods are been used by Islamic teachers in directing students behavior in grades (7-10) of basic education in Oman, and that's through answering the following questions:
1- To what extent the educational methods are used by Islamic teachers in directing the students' behavior in grades (7 10) of basic education from the teachers' point of view? To what extent the educational methods are used by Islamic teachers in directing the students' behavior in grades (7 10) of basic education from the supervisors' point of view? Do the educational methods that the Islamic educations teachers use in guiding students behavior differ regarding to the type variable? Do the educational methods that the Islamic educations teachers use in guiding students behavior differ regarding to the experience variable?
4- The study sample contained (119) male and female teachers of Islamic education in Muscat Governorate and they have been chosen randomly. They represent (25%) of the study Society.
The supervisors sample consisted of all the Islamic male and female supervisors in the Muscat Governorate, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Al Dakiliah and Al Dahira for the year (2011/2012) and they were (58) male and female supervisors.
To answer the study questions, they researcher conducted a questionnaire contained (49) paragraphs divided on (9) methods and its credibility has been confirmed. The most significant result of the study:
1- The rate of using the educational methods that the Islamic teachers use in guiding the students behavior in grades (7.
10) of basic education is (high) from the teachers' point of view. The rate of using the educational methods that the Islamic teachers use in guiding the students behavior in grades (7 10) of basic education is (high) from the supervisor point of view.
3 There are differences with statically meaning on level (0.05) for the Islamic teachers' usage a degree of educational methods in directing students behavior attributed to the type variable in favor of males.
There are differences with statically meaning on level (0.05) for the Islamic teachers usage a degree of educational methods in directing students behavior attributed to the experience variable except the good advice method where it was for the favor of high experience, Upon the study result, there have been provided a number of recommendations and the most important: is to emphasize that teachers should continue use these methods to enhance students behaviors and to support teachers in using carrots and intimidation methods along with other methods.
