English abstract
Oman underwent different political, economical, social and cultural events during the tenure of the Sultan Taymor bin Faisl ( 1913-1932). It also got effected by the condition resulted from the First World War ( 1914 - 1918). There fore, the researcher heighted those events and made it clear how much effect Oman had because of those events and conditions. The researcher, too, concentrated on the social and cultural aspects influenced Oman at that period. This study aims to a chive some objectives such as : follow the life of Sultan Taymor bin Faisl in close since his childhood until his abdication. It also show the main political, economical, social and cultural events occurred in Oman from 1920 to 1932. The researcher depended on the descriptive analysis method of the historical events. This study has a preface and four chapters. The first chapter discusses the political status in Oman during the period from 1920 till 1932. The second chapter is mainly about the economical status during the same period. The third chapter concentrates on the condition of the Omani society in that period . The last chapter is about the cultural aspect in Oman during the era of the Sultan Taymor bin Faisl. This study depended on some resources as the published and unpublished documents that are mentioned at the end of study The study concluded with different results such as: the bad healthy of Sultan Taimoor Bin Faisal which push him to leave the rule to his son Sayyed Said, the other result is that Sultan Taimoor tried to exist of Economical condition with asking the British experience aiming to improve living condition and improvement in services. He achieved improvement in educational services and getting some new services, but these services were just around the capital Muscat and lost in other places of Oman.
