English abstract
The study aims to reveal the relationship between life quality and marital compatibility in married teachers in South Alsharqia region. It was conducted on (253) married teachers. The researcher has used the instrument of life quality that was prepared by Hortani (2014) and the instrument of marital compatibility that was prepared by ibrahimi (2015).
The study has followed the method of associative description. The results have showed high levels of life quality and marital compatibility in South Alsharqial's married teachers. There was associated relationship between life quality and marital compatibility.
The study also shows no statistically significant differences in the level of life quality according to the variable of age only for the dimenstion of family relationships to the age between (25-35). It also shows no statistically significant differences in all aspects of life quality to the variable of children's number; however, the variable of expertise duration had also shown no statistically significant differences in all the aspects of life quality unless for the dimenstion of life satisfaction which shows statistically significant differences only in teachers whom expertise duration is more than (10 years). As for marital compatibility accordance to age, it has shown no statistically significant differences in all the dimensions of marital compatibility unless for the dimenstion of emotional maturity and the total, these has shown in married teachers in the age stage (25-35).
The study also shows no statistically significant differences in all the scale dimensions in marital compatibility according to children's number and expertise duration. Finally, the study found that life quality contributes by (9%) in marital compatibility prediction in married teachers.
