English abstract
The objective of the study was to identify the effect of cooperative learning on the performance of some of the physical skills for the 11th grade students in Muscat Governorate. The researcher used the experimental method in designing the experimental groups (cooperative learning) and the control (traditional method) by using the pre and post measures nature of the study, The sample of the study was randomized by the 11th grade. Two of the (13) divisions were selected in the school, one representing the experimental group with 27 students and the other the control group with 25 students. Students, The main results were that the learning method under study (cooperative learning - the traditional method) had a positive effect on the learning of the physical skills under study except the multiplication skill (4) In the volleyball team did not amount to the existence of differences of statistical significance, as well as the superiority of the experimental group on the control in the level of performance of the skill of pass and crossword in the basketball and also the skill of correction from the side fall in the handball, recommended The researcher to conduct a similar study on other sport skills to stand on the importance of cooperative learning method. In addition, similar studies are needed on different samples of Omani society and the use of cooperative learning in other classroom stages.
