English abstract
The thesis is aimed at identifying the obligations and responsibility of travel and tourism offices to the client in accordance to the Omani Law by shedding the light on such obligations and responsibility in the field of tourism. The thesis is based on a study of the Omani tourism law in analytical comparison with Arab and Gulf Laws to answer many queries including: What is tourism contract? What is the legal condition of the tourism contract as well as its distinction from other contracts? What are the legal effects of the tourism contract in addition to the scope and terms of the tourism offices responsibility? To answer the aforementioned queries, the thesis has been divided into three sections, the first is regarding the essence, characteristics and the legal condition of the tourism contract and its distinction from other contracts in addition to, while the second section is concerned with explaining the legal effects of the tourism contract and lastly, the third section is concern with the scope and terms of the tourism offices responsibility. The thesis includes a summary explaining the most important results and recommendations to regulate the obligations of travel and tourism under the Omani Law.
