English abstract
This study aims to build up a collective counselling program and pursue its effectiveness in developing social responsibility and self-efficacy among female central prison in Smayil. The researcher adopted a quasi-experimental method in forming each group in order to show the effectiveness of the collective counselling program in developing social responsibility and self-efficacy perceived by the female inmates in the central prison in Samayil. 15 female inmates participated in teaching the collective counselling program in a period of five weeks by three counselling sessions a week. The researcher calculated the SMAs and standard deviations of the experimental group members' degrees on the scales and different dimensions of social responsibility and perceived self-efficacy on: pre-measurement, pro-measurement and follow-up measurements. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test was used to check up the
c
statistical significance of the variations of social responsibility and perceived
self-efficacy among the experimental group members.
a. The study showed differences with statistical significance on the
significance level (0.05=α ) among the experimental group members on the
total measurement level of social responsibility and perceived self-efficacy
on all its dimensions of social responsibility and perceived self-efficacy: the
pre-measurement and the pro-measurement, the pro-measurement
surpassed due to the collective counselling program adopted in the study.
It shows the effectiveness of the collective counselling program used in this
study.
b. The results showed no differences with statistical significance on the
statistical level (0.05=α ) among the experimental group members on the
total measurements of social responsibility and perceived self-efficacy on
all its dimensions on: the pre-measurement and pro-measurement which
indicates the continuity of the effectiveness of the collective counselling
program used in this study.
