English abstract
The study aimed to build a program based on the collective guidance of rational emotive behavioural therapy (REBT), and investigate its effectiveness in reducing burnout among a sample of the teachers Post-Primary Education in the Schools of Wilayat Al Seeb in the Sultanate of Oman.
To achieve the objectives it has been developed a questionnaire to measure burnout among the study sample of (34) · teachers .The sample was randomly assigned to the experimental group (17) teachers and control group (17) teachers,in order to analyze the responses of the study sample the researcher has used software package (SPSS).
The results of the current study demonstrated that there were statistically significant differences between the two groups. More specifically the teachers in the experimental group show less burnout in the post-test.
The current study also discussed recommendation for future research.
