English abstract
The purpose of this study was to know the level of professional maturity and making decision among students in grade 10 basic education schools in the north Eastern region in (2015-2016), and the relationship between vocational maturity and making decision, to know learn how vocational maturity predict in forecasting making decision. The samples consisted of (200 students) from schools in the region, schools were selected randomly, in the second semester of the year (2015-2016). The investigation was conducted using questionnaires, one for vocational maturity and the other for making decision, The questionnaires were exposed to eight referees measured validity and reliability by using Alpha Cronbach method which reached respectively (0.83) (0.76), the results showed that the level of professional maturity and making decision sample was high, also the results indicated that no statistically differences (a<0.05) in vocational maturity level between males and females. Where is the results in making decision a statistically significant level differences (a> 0.05) was indicated for females. The study showed also that there is a relationship between vocational maturity and making decision. Which indicated that when making decision skill rises, the vocational maturity increase as well.
