English abstract
The study aimed to find the relation between psychological hardiness and moral values among Islamic Sciences Institutions' students in Muscat and Ibri. The study sample included (284) students, for which the researcher used a psychological hardiness scale composed of (43) items and a moral values scale composed of(53) items. The validity and reliability of both scales were verified to fit the study purposes.
The study concluded that the levels of both psychological hardiness and moral values of the sample were high, with average scores of (4.01) and (4.23) respectively. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between the psychological hardiness and morale values at the significance level (a=0.01) among Islamic Sciences Institutions' students in Muscat and Ibri in Oman. Statistically significant differences were observed at the significance level (a<0.05) in the sample estimations on the level of psychological hardiness among Islamic Sciences Institutions' students in Muscat and Ibri attributed to the (class) variable in the first dimension (commitment) and the scale as a whole. The results also showed Statistically significant differences at the significance level (as0.05) in the sample estimations on the level of psychological hardiness among Islamic Sciences Institutions' students in Muscat and Ibri attributed to the academic average) variable in the first dimension (commitment) and the scale as a whole.
