Countries located in the Gulf region have been taking immense efforts in incorporating latest ICT in the education sector for the last several years. Oman is no exception to this. At this outset, an attempt is being undertaken to examine the changing pattern of application of ICT in higher education and its impact on teaching and learning process. focusing on Sultanate of Oman, which has witnessed myriad changes in recent years and adapted quickly to the new challenges of technological era.
