The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of a group coun seling program in improving career decision making self-efficacy among the tenth grade students at Muscat Governorate by using strategies of multiple intelligence the ory and problem-solving strategy. The sample of this study consisted of 60 male and female students assigned randomly into experimental group (n=30), and control group (n=30). The experimental group received activities of vocational guidance courses.
Quasi-experimental design was used in this study, and career decision making self-efficacy scale was administered to the participants. The results of the Two-way ANOVA Analysis showed that there were significant differences in the posttest be tween the experimental group, while there were no significant differences between in career decision making self-efficacy, due to gender and the interaction between gen der and group
The results of the t-test of showed significant differences between the pretest and the posttest in favor of the posttest. In addition, there were no significant differ ences between the posttest and the follow-up test, due to group,
