This study aimed at investigating communication skills among school's principals. It also aimed at identifying to the difference in communication skills among school's principals between males and females and attributable to years of experience.
To achieve the aims of the study, it used a descriptive correlation method. tool was implemented: social communication skills scale which was developed in 2002 and it consisted of four subscales: delivering clear messages, listening, giving and receiving feedback and dealing with emotional feelings.. The validity of the scale was checked by experts' validity and their reliability was checked using Cronbach's Alpha.
The sample of the study consisted of (115) male and female schools' principals from cycle school principals in Sultanate of Oman.
The results of the study showed: 1. Delivering clear messages was the most common communication skill among principals with their students and listening skill was the least common. 2. There are no statistically significant differences at (a= 0.05)
between males and females in individual or the overall means of communication skills. 3. There are no statistically significant differences at (a= 0.05) attributable to years of experience in individual or the overall means of communication skills
