This research aims to identify the efficacy of video self-modeling to improve reading fluency and reading motivation among the fifth grade female students enlisted in the Learning Difficulties Program in North Al Batinah Governorate, Sultanate of Oman. To achieve this aim, the researcher has used Reading Fluency Test prepared by Shizawi (*•11) which measures the skills of reading fluency represented in: articulation, reading accuracy and reading rate. The researcher has also used Reading Motivation Scale consisted of 19 items divided into two dimensions: Reading self-concept and value of reading. The research sample has been consisted of 1. female students of the fifth grade, enlisted in the Learning Difficulties Program. The results have showed the following: 1) there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (6.10) between the pre test and post-test scores of reading fluency for the experimental group favoring the pre-test and are attributed to the video self-modeling; ~ there are statistically significant differences between the experimental group and control group in the post test of reading fluency favoring the experimental group and are attributed to the video self-modeling; ) there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (..) between the pre-test and post-test scores of reading motivation for the experimental group favoring the pre-test and are attributed to the video self modeling; 4) there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (,) between the experimental group and control group in the post-test of reading motivation level favoring the experimental group
