The study aimed to identify the level of mental health of a sample of students with hearing disabilities and ordinary students in the basic education stage in the Sultanate of Oman, and the number of the sample members reached (92) students with a hearing disability in the Governorates of Al Dakhliya, North Al Sharqiyah, North Al Batinah, and Al Dhahirah, and (117) students from the second cycle and the post-primary cycle, and they were chosen randomly, and the study followed the correlational descriptive approach, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used a scale, namely: the mental health scale prepared by Al-Qurtubi and the person (1992), Abdullah Development (2014) on the category of people with hearing disabilities and ordinary students. The results of the study stated that the standard of mental health for a sample of students with hearing disabilities in the basic level in the Sultanate of Oman was average on the scale as a whole, wِhile the level of mental health for a sample of students with hearing disabilities at the stage of basic education in the Sultanate of Oman at the level of dimensions was low. The level of mental health among a sample of ordinary students in the stage of basic education in the Sultanate of Oman came Average on the scale as a whole, As for the level of mental health for a sample of ordinary students in the basic education stage in the Sultanate of Oman at the dimensional level, it was high, and there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of my group of ordinary and those with hearing disabilities on the scale of mental health as a whole and in all dimensions of the mental health scale Except for the two dimensions, "the ability to employ energies, and the human dimension was in favor of ordinary students, and there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students with hearing disabilities according to the gender variable (male, female) on the mental health scale as a whole and its sub-dimensions, And the presence of statistically significant differences in the level of mental health for a sample of students with hearing disabilities according to the variable of maintaining the scale as a whole, and in the dimensions (feeling of competence and confidence, freedom from neurotic symptoms, self-acceptance), and the existence of statistically significant differences between the governorate of Muscat on one hand and the governorate. Al-Dakhiliyah, North Sharqiyah, Al Dhahirah and North Al Batinah on the other hand in the axes of "feeling competent and confident", "freedom from neurotic symptoms", and "mental health measure as a whole" came in favor of the students of the Governorate of Muscat, as it became clear that there are statistically significant differences between the Governorate of Muscat on the one hand. Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate, on the other hand, in the axis of "self-acceptance" came in favor of the students of Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the ordinary students for the variable of sex (male, female) on the mental health scale as a whole and its sub-dimensions except for the two dimensions of feeling aptitude and confidence, and there are no statistically significant differences in the level of mental health for a sample of ordinary students according to the variable Maintaining the scale as a whole and in all dimensions, except for the ability to employ the energies that showed differences between them, as it became clear that there are statistically significant differences in the level of psychological health between ordinary students in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate and students in North Al Batinah Governorate for the benefit of students in North Al Batinah.
