The study aims at investigating the Omani learning disabilities teachers' perceptions of the usage of smart board in the Omani classrooms. It also aims at finding out the difficulties that might face these teachers, if any, from such a usage. The study sample consisted of 498 male and female teachers in cycle one and cycle two schools. This sample of the study represented 42% of the total number of teachers of learning disabilities in the academic year 2016/2017. A questionnaire was employed, to find out such data, that consisted of three main themes including; the teachers' perceptions of the importance of smart whiteboard, its classroom implementation and the obstacles that may face teachers in the implementation process. The study findings revealed a high degree of agreement on the importance of smart board among the teachers, whereas, in the second and third research questions, the results revealed an average level of the importance of the smart board. However, the fourth question showed a statistically significant difference among the study variables. Also, teachers' experience did not have an effect on the three study questions. Yet teachers' specialization showed only a significant statistical difference at the third theme, which is the obstacle of using the smart whiteboard. There was a statistically significant effect of the specialization in the third theme, the obstacles of using the smart board, while the school level had a significant effect in the first and second themes of the questionnaire. The fifth question was an open answer question in which teachers were asked to provide their suggestions and opinions on how to overcome the obstacles of using smart board in their schools.
