The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of an educational computerized programme in developing some of listening skills of pupils in grade 7 Basic. The study sample included 56 pupils in Grade 7 from Falah Bin Mohsen Basic School(5-12) Dhahirath South. The experimental group included 28 pupils and the control group likewise. The researcher prepared an educational computerized programme in collaboration with a computer expert. The researcher used the pupils' marks of the previous academic year to ensure the equality of the two groups in the listening skills. The researcher also used an academic attainment post test to verify the effectiveness of the programme and the standard of the educational achievement. The results showed the existence of indicative statistical differences between the two groups in the general standard in favour of the experimental group and the existence of indicative effect in five of the listening skills which the study aims to develop as well as nonexistent of indicative differences in five other skills. The study was interpreted in the light of a theoretical domain which resulted in a number of recommendations and suggestions.
